Title: Certain persons prohibited from possessing firearms
Subject: Crime
Description: The purpose of this bill is to require any persons convicted in this state of any of the crimes referenced in subsections (a)(1) or (8) of §61-7-7 of this code to, sign a form at the time of conviction acknowledging they are now prohibited from possessing firearms, and will transfer any firearms to an individual or individuals not prohibited from possessing firearms.
