R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Carter Wilson and James Kenneson of Woodville High |
|
|
School made an outstanding showing in a tournament hosted by the |
|
|
Southeast Texas High School Fishing Association on April 11, 2015; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The duo was one of 351 teams that launched their |
|
|
boats on Lake Sam Rayburn as part of the fourth SETX tournament of |
|
|
the season; in a large field of anglers, they distinguished |
|
|
themselves by reeling in the biggest catch of the day, a bass |
|
|
weighing in at 7.4 pounds; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, These young fishermen have set an example of skill |
|
|
and teamwork to which others may aspire, and they may take |
|
|
justifiable pride in this accomplishment; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Carter Wilson and James Kenneson on |
|
|
their success at the Southeast Texas High School Fishing |
|
|
Association tournament on April 11, 2015, and extend to them |
|
|
sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Wilson and Mr. Kenneson as an expression of high |
|
|
regard by the Texas House of Representatives. |
