H.R. No. 550

	R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Members of the Golden Corridor Republican Women work
	to promote the principles of the Republican Party; and
	WHEREAS, Founded in 1990, the Golden Corridor Republican
	Women is composed of individuals from Collin, Dallas, and Denton
	Counties, and its members have significantly impacted local, state,
	and national politics by advancing their strong conservative
	convictions and helping Republicans win elected office; the group
	strives to educate voters about key issues and legislation and to
	encourage greater participation in the political process; and
	WHEREAS, The vitality of a community depends in large measure
	on an involved citizenry, and members of the Golden Corridor
	Republican Women are making a lasting difference through their
	commitment to political activism; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
	Legislature hereby recognize the Golden Corridor Republican Women
	and commend its members for their civic engagement; and, be it
	further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
	prepared for the club as an expression of high regard by the Texas
	House of Representatives.
